Social Services
GNEC has a social Service wing which is used to channelizing the social service activities of the faculty, staff and the students.
It has adopted near by villages and conducts activities like medical camps, literacy camps and educates the villagers regarding hygiene and health care on a regular basis.
NSS wing of GNEC
NSS Unit has been established in the year 2006 to extend the services of the Institute.
The following activities are taken up:
- Blood donation camps
- Blood grouping camps
- Fund collection and distribution to poor children and old age homes
- Distribution of old clothes and free medicines to the people of slum areas
- Tree plantations
- AIDS awareness programmes
- Collection of relief fund when natural disasters occur
